Integrating Technologies

Oculting in the W Paris Opera hotel

We have made the technical visit to the W Paris Opera, a hotel establishment with a unique combination of dynamics and current technology in an emblematic Haussmann style building, with the goal of helping reconcile the resounding geometry of TV screens with the exquisite interior style of its suites through the Oculting system of mirrors with integrated TV.

This hotel, which maintains the charm of yesteryear and at the same time incorporates the dynamics of modern life, is located 150 meters from the Palais Garnier opera house in Paris, the Neo-Baroque building most characteristic of the ninth district of Paris.

The W Paris Opera offers its guests a bright identity, with impressive spaces and an excellent location.

Designed jointly by W Global Brand Design and Rockwell Group Europe, it occupies an emblematic 1870 Haussmann style building, serving as a framework to enjoy its facilities, which combine neoclassical architecture with elements of current design, technological innovation and maximum comfort.

The common areas of the hotel invite you to socialize and relax in a friendly atmosphere with style, to give free rein to the imagination, and share the experiences lived after touring the symbolic corners of Paris during the day, or to enjoy the nightlife, with the innumerable possibilities offered by the City of Light.

The suites, with striking views of the Opera, feature original architectural details such as columns, corbels, rosettes, moldings, fireplaces, white marble bathrooms, and large dressing rooms.

The three-meter-high ceilings and large windows allow the entrance of light, something that is accentuated thanks to the double interior doors, which open, offering greater space, warmth and sense of continuity.

Rockwell Group’s choice of our solution of freestanding TV mirrors, in this case in Baroque style, fits perfectly with its environment, providing an elegant and innovative element. Oculting is a device that, due to its amazing technology, will certainly have a positive impact on the hotel’s image through its diffusion of excellent guest comments on social media.

The Avant Solution self-supporting mirrors from Oculting provide functionality, distinction and mobility. Our solutions allow you to enjoy the television without influencing the distribution of the rest of the elements that make up a hotel room or suite.

All these benefits are possible thanks to the cutting-edge technology that Oculting offers with Samsung Hospitality screens for hotel rooms.

Oculting is a trend because the screen is an aesthetic imposition that skews the creation of demanding and sensitive environments due to its strong personality, as is the case of the W Paris Opera. This aspect has been repeatedly expressed by design professionals and architects in projects in which we have participated.

The important thing is not the screen but the content. That is why in Oculting we hide the technology so that only the experience is lived. Don’t See. Just Feel.
